Hello community,
New user & visitor here, I was diagnosed last February with the Apnea but didn’t pickup my equipment until December. I’ve known I had sleep apnea for a long time, heavy snoring & stopping breathing.
The equipment I have is the airsense 10 & f20 full face mask. All my stats on the MyAir app say my sleep is great (less than 3 events usually) but I have issues with the time frame on it because 12pm is a new day and I work nights so my hours/events from 1 day are on the next day but that’s not my real issue.
So since I’ve started using it a normal “night” of sleep for me is about 4 hours when I get home from work and then 2 hours before I go to work. When using for that amount of time I haven’t had any real issues. But last week 2/7-2/14
I was using the machine for around 7+hours which is a lot for me. Well I have now noticed that my head is killing me, I thought it was a sinus infection so I started taking meds and it did nothing. I decided to not use the machine Sunday when I got home from work & Sunday night, which is my night off, I woke up without a headache or sinus pressure.
I also noticed that I was extremely dry mouthed when waking up during my normal use the past week. Last night I decided to turn the humidifier all the way up and use it again and when I woke up I was still a little dry but not as bad but still had a minor headache, not as severe but there. I’ve never had headache issues ever in my life.
Has anyone experienced this kind of issue and if so is there any kind of solution? I have my follow up with my Dr in 2 weeks but was hoping for some advice between now & then.
Also I don’t mind using the machine, personally I don’t feel any better when I sleep with it but I also work nights and sleep crappy anyway plus if the machine is going to keep my from possibly dying by either the Apnea or my gf killing me cause of my snoring then using it is whatever..

Re: Sinus headache from Airsense 10
Breathing through the mouth can cause nasal problems. I use a FFM and used to have congestion and bloody mucus many mornings upon awakening. I added Somnifix (https://somnifix.com/) to the process and the nasal problems are nearly zero. I also sleep better. Strictly nasal breathing has other significant health benefits.
