Thanks for your suggestions.
Yes, I did order the same machine for the trial period and will be able to upload any data through OSCAR.
Also, I do have the nasal and full face mask. I am currently using the full face one but I will surely give it a try with the nasal one as you mentioned.

Have you tried combining CPAP with a CPAP mouthguard? I know a lot of people on this forum aren't the biggest fans of mouthguards but for my 'mild'/probably UARS sleeping issues it's helped a lot when combined with CPAP.

Yes, I did try in that way previously. As I am ordering an auto machine now I will give it another try on that way if it could not solve the problem on its own. Thanks for the idea though.
I did input my symptoms on the above-mentioned website. The result is suggesting sleep apnea with many symptoms matches.
Most of the other suggested things already have been ruled out. But I will double-check with my PCP. Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi Everyone,
This is my 1st OSCAR data finally - from Air sense auto 10. I attached the 4th picture and the oxygen graph in the next reply. I changed the machine's minimum pressure to 6 because below that pressure I feel suffocated and can not sleep.

Sleep is not better than any other day!

The time was not adjusted so 3:30 am at the machine is my 12:30 am. Minus 3 hours to correct the machine time.

these charts are fine how they are. but any after this should be organized like this-

and just the one chart unless someone wants to see additional info. same with your oxygen charts.

is this the first night on the new machine? you will have to stick with it for a bit and see if your sleep improves. or if you are impatient, go ahead and raise the minimum to seven.

Hi Zonker,
This 2nd night but 1st night of recording. There was not a card inside so I missed 1st night data.
About the minimum pressure I would set it to 7. But actually, I found I feel comfortable with 10+ pressure to start the sleep (from the trial with my previous machine). It feels kinda suffocated if pressure is below 10 and procrastinate the sleep starting.

Is there any way to set a starting pressure which will be active before I fall into sleep and after that it can change itself to what ever necessary. And If I wake up middle of the night it will be back to that starting pressure. Let me know if you know about it?

i think i may be confused. you HAVE the machine set at 6 BUT you want it to start at 10?

if that's the case, then, yes, you can set your minimum at 10.

if i've misunderstood, i'm sorry and please explain again.

<waggles hand> it could. but we only have the one chart to go on. it may well improve your therapy. then again, it may not.

we usually advise doing one change at a time, doing that one change a little bit at a time. then watching for a few days to see what the effect(s) is/are. but there isn't anything harmful in doing what you want to do.

look at your chart and look at the pressure. the max it hits is 10.76. 95 percent of that sleep session you were at 9.94 and BELOW. but if you feel more comfortable starting at 10, try it and find out.

let's see your graph tomorrow to see what happens!

i thought about this last night after i logged out. if you set the minimum at 10, it won't go below that. hence "minimum". it won't go any lower than that.

if you wake up and start and stop the machine, yes it's back to that 10. but if you don't turn it off/on, it's going to be as high as it needed to be at the point where you woke up.

did that make sense?
