E128 Error Code on Fisher & Paykel Sleepstyle 200

I get error code E128 when I power down my 10+ year old Fisher & Paykel Sleepstyle 200. It won't power up again after that unless I unplug the cord and let it sit a long time. No error codes are present in the user manual. I'd like to know what the E128 error code exactly means if someone can find out or knows already.

Probably means you need a new machine.
You might try contacting F & P or your equipment supplier if still around.

F&P members are an extreme minority here, but they are clearly over represented in having machine failures.

Some users have found work arounds. Maybe the work around will work until you get a new device, you machine is almost 10 years old. And don't get another F&P.

Fool me once, shame on me, because I got an F&P.
Fool me twice, I've I don't learn by my experiences and get another F&P.

Ooh, I looked at that thread--seven pages of nuttin' but LEMONS.
I would go for a Resmed the next time--an autoset, like mine.
While car shopping, we looked at a Yugo--out of curiosity.
Whoa--gotta be insane to spend your money on junk.
