CPAP causing palpitations?
CPAP causing palpitations?
I got my cpap a few months ago and everything was going well. Now, whenever I put on my mask, I can feel my heartbeat in the right side of my neck. I am worried that I am damaging my carotid artery. Does anybody know about this?
Re: CPAP causing palpitations?
Yeah. You have two of them. Mostly they supply blood to your brain.
No doctors here.
Find one. Ask him/her.

Re: CPAP causing palpitations?
CPAP is not known to damage carotid arteries.
Palpitations in a carotid artery can be a symptom of arterial plaque buildup in the artery. See your doctor.
