I need help
I need help
Ok so, I have been using an air sense 10 for the last couple of years. Where I am a side sleeper it was recommended that I use the airfit p10 where I am a side sleeper. So my old mask needed to be replaced and I got a new one a few days ago and it's not sealing right. I've switched the nasel pillows, used the strap sdjusters, etc. I don't know what else to do, did I just get a dud mask?

Watch some p10 adjustment videos.

Try a different size cushion. Maybe the size you are using is too big or too small.

Re: I need help
As others have said, try the different size cushions.
I, too, am a side sleeper. My husband is a die-hard P10 user. He swears it is the best mask ever and encouraged me (PUSHED ME!!!) to try it. Personally...I HATED it! I actually tried it several times. Not several nights (well, yes, several nights each time
) but several times after trying other masks, because he was so convinced that if I just "gave it a chance" I too would love it. I tried both the regular and "for her" straps, different size cushions, all different combinations, it just was not for me!
Mask choice is the hardest part of CPAP adjustment. What works for one person will not necessarily work for another. If after trying the different cushions (and any other suggestions that may come up here), it still does not seem to work for you, you might want to try a different mask.

Re: I need help
Watch four or five adjusting/fitting videos for the P10 on youtube. Some of the videos are excellent.Zamgi wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 6:48 amOk so, I have been using an air sense 10 for the last couple of years. Re: I need help
Zamgi, you could maybe consider a Bleep mask set up. There is no sizing, there are no straps, and it works great! It's somewhat fiddly to use, especially at first, but it's well worth the effort.
Best of luck with whatever you do!

Deborah K. is right, the Bleep DOES work great! And as side sleeper like you, Zamgi, it is the best mask I have used. No leaks as it actually adheres around the nares, and as she said, no sizing...completely exterior. It is the ONLY mask I have been able to use beyond a few weeks...almost 2 years nows, since it launched.Deborah K. wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 4:59 pmZamgi, you could maybe consider a Bleep mask set up.
