Indeed, they fought me tooth and nail, claiming my failing machine meant nothing as I was out of my compliance period. BS, it's MY health!

Thankfully, my company has a Healthcare Advocate service included in my benefits. They got me in touch with management at my insurance, who gave me the inside story of what to do to get approved for an early replacement. My doctor's office was skeptical, but followed through and I was approved without further ado. Of course, it took more than three weeks for my MES to fill the order. The few MES companies in my area all have terrible reviews, so going to another isn't a convenient option.
That said, I FINALLY have a new machine, and am getting 8+ hours of assisted sleep a night. I'm grateful for that!
