Wellue Oxylink
Wellue Oxylink
Does anyone have experience with the Wellue Oxylink pulse oximeter? Seems it's being aggressively marketed online, and seems like a good idea (wears like a ring on a finger, rather than on the wrist). I have two previous nonin wrist oxymeters (model 3150), and got a lot of good mileage out of them, but long since kaput. And I really like the Nonin line, although a bit pricey. This Wellue caught my attention, but I'm hesitant to spring for that, seems like it would be harder to keep on a finger overnight. Advice/experience will be appreciated.

Re: Wellue Oxylink
I would get a recording pulse ox. that is supported by Oscar so you can view your Spo2 along with your sleep data from your cpap.Ric wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 11:33 pmDoes anyone have experience with the Wellue Oxylink pulse oximeter? Re: Wellue Oxylink
I had suspicions of apnea issues last year and had bought a Wellue O2 ring to self diagnose. I was having significant drops in my O2 saturation during the night and I took this information to my PCP and he scheduled up a sleep study. The sleep study did show a severe apnea problem and since last March I've been on CPAP. The O2 sat numbers are significantly improved compared to when I wasn't on CPAP and I use the Wellue ring as a measure of how well the CPAP is working along with Oscar and a Fitbit tracker. If the Wellue Oxylink gives same sort of information it may be a good extra tool to monitor CPAP therapy.
This is a screenshot of the typical graph I download and review every morning to my PC while connected via USB to also recharge the rings battery. I don't know if the Oxylink app/software would be the same as the O2Ring, but I suspect similar in what it reports.
Edit.......... I just looked at Wellue's site and they have a comparison chart for the Oxylink, SleepU, and the O2Ring. The Oxylink data is basic and does not have the detail of the O2Ring or the SleepU. The Oxylink also only works with an ios or Android app and not a PC software such as what I have shown below.
