Somnera system?
I'm in the market for a new CPAP and just noticed the somnera system. I'm naturally interested since not much new items come out in regards to new CPAP machines. The lack of a humidifier in interesting. I also wonder if it will work with OSCAR. Do you all have any opinions ? I currently have a dreamstation and was originally planning on switch to the airsense before seeing the somnera system
Re: Somnera system?
It won't work with OSCAR now and don't plan for it to be in the future.
I don't know anyone using this new device and last I heard not available in the US though I do see some websites offering it for a pre launch or pre order with a hoped for shipment in December but I haven't seen anyone actually selling it yet. Hefty price tag $1350.

There has been one other person here who has asked about this device recently. He hadn't used it.
Too new and since not actually available yet here in the US...no one to tell you how they like it or not.
You can search the forum for that thread easily enough.
Me....not interested.

Re: Somnera system?
FYI, FDA "approval" only means that a bureaucrat accepted fees, and rubber-stamped it for sale.
It is NO indication of effectiveness, and completely avoids the hazard of delaying REAL treatment.
The FDA is a friggin' JOKE.
