Hi,
I got a hard small bump near the top of my nose where the mask rests. It won't go away. I think it was caused by the mask. Anyone one else find that the masks gives them pimple type bumps.
Thanks.

Re: hard small bump on nose
I have used XPAP machines for about 33 years and had several varieties of nasal masks (All nasal cushion type) and have never had any "bumps" or lesions. For what it's worth, I have used the ResMed Activa mask for the last 14 years with good results. But I do accept the fact that some people may have an allergy or sensitivity to the mask plastics. You might want to try a different brand or model of mask.

Re: hard small bump on nose
I have been using the F20 for several years and recently I have experienced a bump and soreness on the bridge of my nose. For years, I have used a small strip of moleskin on the spot, but recently, that has not helped. I have also purchased a Boomerang Gel Pad. It's a silicone strip that protects the nose. For me, the damage is done. I've gone back to my trusty Fitlife Total mask. It's always good idea to have a different type of mask as a backup when these type of issues crop up.

Which model of mask are you using?
