Sorry if someone has already asked this, I searched but can’t find exactly what I’m looking for.
I’ve had my oxygen concentrator for a couple weeks now. It’s a Devilbiss Solairis 525. I turned it on today and within a minute or two it started making a really weird and loud noise. The only way I can describe it is if you were vacuuming and vacuumed up a sock/something big like that. The light was still green and there was no alarm but when I turned it off it was making a loud humming sound for a minute or so. Almost sounded like the alarm but just way quieter. I checked the filter and it’s clean as far as dust/dirt but I did notice there was some moisture in it. I don’t use the humidifier boggle. It’s also possible the tubing was kinked but I thought the alarm would sound for that.
Any ideas? It is a refurbished one so it’s possible it’s broken but I’d hate to return it/wait to have it fixed if there’s an easy solution.
The only other thing is even when it was working properly, after I turned it off (even if it’s unplugged) it would make quiet creaking and popping noises for a bit. Not sure if that’s normal since this is my first machine.
