  Sorry, look at the time I posted. I was pretty sure you were all asleep. Working swing shift is playing heck with my sleep schedule.

I tossed and turned and was awake for about an hour, then fell asleep for another hour. When I woke up, the AHI for the night became 6. I guess it had to do with my breathing while awake, but I’ll still take that as a win as my AHI more than halved from the day prior.
Absolutely take that as a win.

And yes, your AHI likely skyrocketed because while your were lying there awake, you were breathing erratically and tossing and turning. CPAPs can interpret these as Apneas, and flag them, the device doesn't know we're awake.

These false positives are often referred to as Sleep-Wake-Junk (SWJ) around her.

We probably know of somebody who "died in their sleep"--especially after drinking.
(Not necessarily to "excess")
Alcohol plus apnea sometimes add up to funeral.
Sorry, but it happens.
Best to treat our apnea, and drink moderately.

Whew... been worried all week that we would hear a very loud knock on the door. But, I was ready for ya Zonker. Even had a mask and sanitizer outside. If you were coming to beat me up, I didn't want to catch Covid-19 too!
