And how do you know that Resmed machines do not allow to reset run hours to zero? Is there some federal law like odometer reading that not allowing to make miles driven reset to zero? Or Resmed told you it is not possible? Or some HME?

I think you need an appt with a therapist to look for signs of paranoia.

i dont know how it works in Canada but here in US customers have right to know and companies disclose how many miles used car is driven, or if computer is refurbished, etc. As far as i know CPAP machines or other DME equipment is exempt from this disclosure. You can insult me all you want, i dont care, but i have right to purchase brand new unused by anyone CPAP machine. If you dont care it is you problem. But i think you should care because all these companies peddle you CPAP machines as brand new while it is not the case. Look at Google, yelp, BBB ratings for all of them, HMEs, Resmed. It is all hell. 2 stars at best Yes it is a lot easier to confront truth with insults but may be light bulb should go up in some heads to see that patients get screwed and do something about it. It took 5 whistleblowers to start case against Resmed where they settled for millions. Resmed is extremely profitable company, their margins are over 50%, just today they delivered better earnings than wall street expected. so their executives getting richer and richer and you just getting screwed. Resmed certainly can afford to do right thing but nobody does anything about it. except 5 who had guts to complain and they got reward from doj. does not look like waste of time to me. certainly more productive than responses i got. i guess you people believe whatever nonsense is told to you in general

So have you decided which model ResMed you're getting yet?

yes i know what i want just for $1100 i want brand new unused machine. Call me picky or someone who refuses to take crap from crooks. It is ok could not care less. most people just swallow everything they told. i started to think may be some clinical research needs to be done if cpap machine actually blows air in people brains and kills brain cells. I am done replying to this nonsense. If there is some willingness to start class action to change this crooked system, please private message me. It only took 5 people with guts and brains to contact DOJ. I think there is some class action gong on on behalf of Resmed shareholders. So good luck to all of you. Enjoy your used machines that were sold to you as new. In my case i have papertrail to prove it.

Ask Mick on Twitter. Mick Farrell @ResMedMick CEO of Resmed See attachment if the attachment works.

I asked him twice is there going to be a VPAP 11 but no answer. It is amazing to me how they're letting their sales suffer by not offering new machines unless they just really don't have anything that's that's that new. If in fact they don't have anything that's new, not having a new machine that's marginally better is commendable. I can't imagine for the life of me if they had something new why they wouldn't release it. Who wants 6 year old technology and maybe a refurbished machine. I have a VPAP 9 that works, who needs a 10 that doesn't do anything much better. I told him I wanted better battery backup, with big batteries for power outages, and better bipaps to help patients with Covid 19 or other respiratory pandemics.

He retweeted an interesting article the during this pandemic it seems as though hospitals are noticing less myocardial infractions because people are sleeping more. He seems like a good guy.
