Nose gets cold with pillows and Breeze system.
Nose gets cold with pillows and Breeze system.
I started with a face mask which I wore 3 nights....hated it because my skin is so sensitive, ordered the Breeze system with pillows (can't decide which size feels more comfortable), find it much more comfortable and am doing well with it. However, my Nose gets so cold during the night I have take the gear off and warm it up twice during the night. Last night I tried putting a piece of cotton over my nose and it did keep it warm but this morning I am sneezing and my nose is really running. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution for it? Appreciate any tip. Kay[/list]

Kay,
Do you use a heated humidifier? Do you have a hose cover or a heated hose? What is the temperature in your sleeping room?
These are all things you can change to alleviate the cold air feeling. I remember my doc telling me if I didn't use the heated humidifier I would feel like I was sleeping in the freezer. Sounds just like what you describe.

Cold nose problems
Thank you so much for your response to my cold nose problem. Yes I do have a heated humidifier but I believe I remember the technician telling me that she had set it on a low setting. I'll pull out the book and figure out how to raise the temperature. Our bedroom is air-conditioned and around 68 to 70 degrees. We like it cool at night. As for my hose, I only have what came with the machine and it appears to be a clear plastic hose. I don't have any special cover for it. Should I? Where would I get one?
