You never mentioned how you feel in the morning (or I missed it). Are you feeling refreshed?
I wake up feeling decent most days. I'm still fighting some stubborn recent-ish appearing hypertension so it's my own goal of eliminating desats as much as possible...

I think you might be worrying to much about the number, but by all means talk to your doctor. It is true that poor sleep can lead to higher blood pressures (I know firsthand) but you usually feel that affect.

Lots of things cause high BP. If you're REALLY lucky, you'll get told you are 1 in a million, like me, and have high BP because of a weird hormonal problem that most tests miss. It 'only' took my nephrologist 6+ months to figure this out for me...

FWIW which I admit isn't much because my experience isn't guaranteed to equal anyone else's...
While I know some lucky people get to go off BP medications once their sleep apnea is well treated....I wasn't so lucky.
Sometimes we just have other health problems unrelated to the sleep apnea and the best apnea treatment in the world isn't going to fix them. Something else is the cause of my hypertension...so I still take my BP meds.

Yeah it's looking that way for me. They keep bumping up my meds to try getting it under control. It's weird - I'm 51, 5'10", 175 lbs, no other "issues". Had high hopes the OSA was the cause (and therefore CPAP the cure) but that doesn't seem to be the case after 8 weeks of treatment :(

If your primary care physician isn't able to get a handle on it ask for a referral to a nephrologist. Kidneys are basically where is at for bp control.
