In chatting with a representative of our electric company, who happens to also be a CPAP user, CPAP can be considered life support equipment to them. I can register with the electric company. In case of a power outage, the medical need will be considered in determining in what order customers are restored power.
I'm not sure my medical need of CPAP is that critical but possibly to some of you out there it may be. Check with your local power company.

So is my electric stove and furnace, if I don't eat and stay warm the Dr. told me I'd die. Added to that I'm disabled, I require XPAP. Jim
