Respironics addressed this problem by releasing the replacement Headgear with Arms. The part is available separately.
The good news; the Respironics Replacement Headgear with Arms, fits perfectly on the ResMed P30i / N30i mask and also addresses the problem. I ordered a set online, my private insurance covered 85% of the cost. I put it on last night, it fit perfectly, the headgear stayed in place.
