I’m not using a For Her. I was originally... I forget what the trouble was with that machine, but the DME quickly exchanged it for some defect within a week or so. They didn’t have another so I went with the regular black one.

I am pretty stable with a set pressure, so I probably could get by with a brick (I do use an auto set). I have gotten my lightly used AirSense10s on Craigslist for about $220.

I had to make an in person appt with my PCP to get a freaking note that says I have a broken CPAP. I do not want to go in person, but I guess this is what I have to do to go through the DME.

You *never* want a brick (not data capable). Being pretty stable with a set pressure you can likely get away with a fixed pressure machine (ie the Elite). But sometime in the future should your needs change, if you have a brick you won't have any tools to address your needs.

I know, I’m just desperate enough for a quiet machine in my hot little hands that I’d take a brick for now. My AHI is below 1.

I can vouch for him also. He hooked me up with an AirCurve with 8 hours on it. No warranty, but it was to replace a secondary machine that was long overdue for replacement and my insurance had already covered a new one that serves as my primary one in the past year. I couldn’t be happier.

I’m already underway on the DME and I’d hate to waste their time and my PCP's - but thanks. I’ll definitely look for my next machine, or my other half's, or my dad's that way. This is stupid and it’s not like it ends up having no copay. I just really wanted a warranty this time.
