Raising up a divan

Post by Perfect123 » Thu Jun 04, 2020 12:11 pm

Hi All

Sorry if this has been posted before.
I have Gerd and need to raise up my bed head but I have a divan bed. How do I do it.

Thanks

Slide lumber studs or books, etc. under the legs on the head end.
In the daytime, you can slide the risers out from under the legs so you can sit on the level.

Had no idea what a Divan was.

To me, the name sounds like the name of some mythical creature and this was going to be some cool topic about conjuring up fantastic beasts!

Oh well, never mind.

I've heard of couches referred to as "divans" but never beds.

After casting my eye upon Wikipedia, it appears to be a daybed--sofa by day, bed at night.
The sort of furnishing for an efficiency apartment.
Probably not a top-seller at furniture stores--they would rather you buy TWO pieces of furniture.

"She gently stroked his throbbing divan."
Or:
"She eagerly plunged her dainty, well-manicured hands into the cleft between the cushions,
and ecstatically produced the remote.
