I use Liquicell to deal with abrasion on the bridge of my nose caused by the mask. I have been using a single Liquicell for 7 days. I have not had any trouble with them breaking. This despite the manufacturer designating them as single use. Has anyone else had experience with using the same Liquicell for more than one night?
Hi

I haven't used Liquicell before, but years ago when I had some issues with pressure sores from my mask I used the Gecko nose pad (https://smile.amazon.com/Gecko-Nasal-Pa ... 184&sr=8-4 as a cushion. The pad lasted a couple of months if I remember correctly (weeks at least but I think longer). I would rinse it in the morning and keep it in a covered travel soap dish during the day to keep it moist & protected from the rest of the junk on my nightstand.

As always, YMMV. Reading the reviews on Amazon, some love it and some were disappointed with it.

Good luck!

-Bill

I tried the precursor to gecko--half the price, before the big guys bought it out.
I was unable to benefit from it, but donated it to a veteran--hope it worked for him.

When I tried the Wisp mask I would get a red mark on the bridge of my nose. I used 2 or 3 Liquicells on top of one another and that stopped the red mark from appearing. I tried reusing them but they stick less and less well and they start to look pretty dirty after a few days.

I found the Gecko pad too thick, which made it hard for me to get a good mask seal.

As mentioned by another poster, might be worth trying a mask that doesn’t hit the bridge of the nose to eliminate the need for Liquicell altogether.

When I had that problem with my mask, I used a small piece of moleskin on my nose every night. I found it on line in large rolls (5 yards) and simply cut off about 1 inch of it to use on my nose. The therapist I worked with when I first started told me about it. She said her husband used it on his nose.

I wonder how a small piece of chamois would work.
I would try that if my nose wasn't already the biggest callus on my face.

I continue to have "bridge of nose" issues and soreness most every night. In fact, my compliance has gone down because of it. Facemasks don't work for me. I'm going to try an N30 setup. However, I was using liquicell and found I could get just as much relief and much cheaper by using bandaid "sport" bandaids. They have a bigger and thicker padding. Stays on well just like liquicell. And throw away in the am.

Instead of the N30, you may want to try the N30i.

The N30i cradles under your nose and doesn't contact the bridge of your nose.

The reason, I suggest the N30i is if it doesn't work well for you, you can then substitute the P30i pillows as they work with the N30i Mask.

if this N30 getup doesn't work I'll give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion
