My son has a dreamstation, he’s been using his APAP for a couple of years but still often removes or his mask becomes displaced during his sleep. I don’t know how he sleeps thru it but some mornings his mask is over his eyes and has been blowing into them all night, it never wakes him up but afterwards it’s obvious he didn’t get restful sleep.
I have ResMed set to turn off automatically, I’m trying to figure out how to get his Dreamstation to turn of automatically. When I access the the clinician menu there are 2 settings with a picture of a fan that say auto. Do I need to set both to off to get it to eventually turn off when the mask is removed?
Auto off on Dreamstation
Re: Auto off on Dreamstation
Auto Off setting...the bottom one...needs to be set to "on" for the machine to turn itself off if the mask gets off...and it takes about 60 seconds for it to turn off.
The top one or Auto On...if that is set to on the machine will come on automatically with a few breaths.
