Oscar help

Post by Elizabeth0531 » Tue May 12, 2020 6:24 pm

I have been using cpap for four months and I just uploaded to oscar. Could someone help me interpret my data please. I cannot seem to get my AHI down. Thank you! I’m concerned about the hypoapneas and clear airways .Elizabeth

welcome to the zoo! how are you feeling? are you sleeping through the night? feeling less tired?

as to the chart, why is your pressure set at a minimum of five and a maximum of ten? i'll bet that's because the doctor set it that way, right?

well, i think you may have to change those settings. you'd be better off with a minimum pressure of seven and a max of twenty. right now, you are hamstringing your machine and it can't do it's job. increasing the pressure would go a long way towards knocking the hypopnea count down

the centrals are another story and a bit complicated. we pretty much all have some fairly unattractive centrals when we first start out. it's a good bet that they aren't real at all.

let's wait and see what the other, more experienced forum members have to say.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

Check out "How to post graphics" in my signature.
You'll get yourself sorted. You're obviously a self-starter.
Welcome!
