mouth issues

Post by Espada » Fri May 01, 2020 5:08 am

when i am sleeping i have a tendency to open my mouth and always wake up gassy or sometimes waking up with a gulp of air in my mouth that i would look like a balloon fish, any ideas how to keep my mouth shut during sleep? i have full face mask and it doesn't help enough with that

chin strap with Velcro works best... otherwise the one without velcro stretches out

this one will work, most likely...it's thin.

I'm not sure closing the mouth will help the gassy feeling. Are you having a problem with the mouth being open? I keep my mouth open all night. Some folks have a problem with it and its a personal preference. With nasal and pillow masks you have to keep your mouth closed all night, but not with yours.

i get gassy cause of the air that was pumped into my mouth while i was sleeping and it causes the mask to leak and the treatment goes bad

have you tried a nasal pillow instead of the face mask?
