This happened to two of my Simplus masks too.CountingSheep wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 12:50 pmI just wanted to say make sure you check your mask closely. Only when I pulled gently on the silicone did I find that it was separating itself from the plastic frame. Fischer & Paykel Simplus.

I like the Simplus form factor, but they've been having trouble with that and their silicone over the nose bridge ripping too. (See image below.)
It starts in a corner and works it's way across the mask until it's unwearable. It may not even be noticeable until you sleep on the mask in a certain position. At first you try repositioning the mask. Finally, you end up pushing on the hissing corner to see if you can stop it, and you realize the mask is broken.
When I saw this happening on my first Simplus, I at first thought, "Well maybe they just made it easy to snap on and off for cleaning purposes." I thought about pulling it apart, but then thought better of it. I decided to order another pillow first. Glad I did. It's an unfortunate flaw in this mask.
The Airfit F20 uses an entirely different method to "weld" the silicone to its plastic frame. I'm curious to see how long it will last comparatively.
