Any thoughts on humidity settings?

I started at 2 with heat and gradually went up to 4.... hose setting on 1, no rainout in hose. At 4 I had to blow my nose and went back to sleep. Raise up to 5 to see if it will help more...

I have forced hot air in my house furnace and that really dries out the air.. I have no humidifier on the furnace.

Just to clarify, you're using forced hot air for your home heat. Your central heating does not include humidifcation, correct?

Is congestion better at 2 or better at 4? What is your hose heat set to? This is a personal comfort setting. It's really about what feels best for you.

gradually increasing my minimum pressure.. AHI dropping, but max pressure still spikes and isn't leveling out.

Congestion has been held off with increased humidifier settings.. but last night I woke up using Afrin. I lowered the humidifier setting back down to 2 from 5.

I use heat with humidifier. DOn't know what else to do about congestion...other than wait out seasonal allergies. I breathe fine all day, but it's when I lay down I get congestion. I can't deal with sitting up sleeping.

Maximum pressure will not level out

ibeprophan works well... but thanks about the pressure. If i continue if needed raising minimum pressure, will that prevent max pressure from spiking?

My pressure readings from last night were from 7.5 minimum....

9,11,10 down to 8...ever since I gradually increased my minimum pressure events have been decreasing and stabilizing, AHI 10 and below. Where I started at 5 minimum events fluctuated sporadically.

As I gradually increase the minimum pressure every few days or so.. it appears the the maximum pressure hasn't climbed above 12.

Eventually will I plateau to level out pressure wise and possibly decrease events?

As you increase your minimum, you head off some number of potential events before they happen. When you have fewer events, your machine will have fewer reasons to crank up the pressure. Sounds as though that fits your experience. It’s great you’re making progress!
