Any sleep doctors available for remote consultation?

I'm living in Germany and was prescribed a PSG by my family doctor based on a home sleep test that said I had moderate sleep apnea. Due to coronavirus and my comorbidities I had to skip the PSG (that I waited 6 months for) and they are now saying it will take at least another 6 months for another appointment.

So I decided to take matters into my own hands and a month ago bought a CPAP and spent some time trying to setup everything. I've managed to get my AHI to consistently below 5 with a pressure of 9 but there is so much other data in OSCAR that I would like a sleep doctor to evaluate to help me understand potential issues and how to further optimise my therapy.

I can't find any sleep doctors practicing remotely in Germany and so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a sleep doctor/specialist who can do remote consultations based on my OSCAR reports and who would accept a patient from Germany?

First, Welcome!

There are no doctors here, so we can't give you medical advice. (Or at least there are no doctors willing to prescribe over a forum, eh?)

However, like you, most of us have taken matters into our own hands and elected to titrate our own therapies because most of us have found we get better therapy if we do self-titrate. There's something satisfying in taking control of your own destiny where you can.

Since you already have a machine and OSCAR you're good to go.

Why not post some of the daily screenshots from your OSCAR data? We can tell you what we would do if it were our graphs. From there, you make a decision for yourself how to proceed.

We can also offer advice on masks, exhale relief settings and methods for reducing large leak.

If you get a chance, it will help us help you if you'll put your machine and mask information in your profile.

Many of us are here because sleep doctors couldn't get our CPAP therapy optimized. You can get help here every morning if you post the night's OSCAR screenshot. You won't find a doctor who will help you each morning. With a little luck, members here can help you optimize your therapy in a few days.

Many of us are not satisfied unless our AHI is below 2.0. So, there is some optimizing you can do.

Until provider access loosens up, this forum (and YOU) is likely the best you can do.
It is already the best source for many already here, as providers have failed--under ideal conditions.
You sound like a person who is at least as capable as most of us here.
I think you will be successful.
