ResMed AirFit N30i Is giving me contact dermatitis

Post by Rylennon » Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:08 pm

Greetings,
First time poster, new 2 month user of my RedMed CPAP machine. I apparently get contact dermatitis from the silicone nasal part of my nasal mask. I Don’t really see a way that it can be covered with material to prevent this from happening. Does anyone have any suggestions about preventing or treating this irritation/flakiness. My doctor said I really need to use this machine, but I do not like the other styles of masks ie: full face and pillows. Both seem uncomfortable to me. Help! Thanks in advance!

What kind of "nasal mask ?
Pad a cheek makes mask liners that work with many styles of mask.
