ResMed s9 humidifier

Post by Cpaplynnie123 » Thu Apr 16, 2020 1:00 am

When I turn the dial on my Resmed 9, I can either adjust the ramp setting or the temperature. (There’s an icon with a thermometer and water drop) But now there doesn’t seem to be a way to change the humidity - I’ve been using it for years and I used to set it at 6. Now there suddenly eems to be no way to get to that water drop screen when I turn the dial and the air seems dry. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you!

Are you using the heated hose?

I believe that it is possible to change the temp/humidity from automatic to manual
in the clinician's menu.
I tried it once, but I liked auto better.

The humidity level is probably set to "automatic" which is why you can't seem to change it.
You need to go into the setup menu area and change it to "manual".

I suggest you go to the above link and request the provider manual which explains how to get to the setup area where you can change the humidity control main setting.
