I'm curious...did you ever try selling it online to the companies who buy them? Ex. SecondWindCPAP.com?

Would they even buy it with that many hours or make you an offer? I'm interested from the standpoint of selling my own...but I only have 20% of those hours it is still under warranty.

My posts are sometimes tongue & cheek w/some snarky sarcasm mixed in.
I leave it up to you to figure it out!

Secondwindcpap.com won't even consider a machine with over 2,000 hours on it.

I wonder what they know...or just decided as a business decision on the 2,000-hour limit. Seems like the money is in the brains of the devices and someone like them could change out highly vulnerable parts very cheaply. Oh, well....this is why I didn't go to business school! :D

Dream Station was originally posted as $125, then you said it was lowered to $300???? I am confused. Need a new machine and might consider purchase if I understood your offer. Need to research Phillips DreamStation though, unsure if it is auto or if it is a brick.

The seller edited his very first post on Nov 20, 2020 to reflect the price reduction. He didn't do anything with the posts between his very first post and Nov 20 so it is a bit confusing.
Originally his very first post stated a much higher asking price.

From one of the pictures he posted it shows the model number of the DreamStation...it's a DSX500xxx which is the DreamStation Auto CPAP model and it is a full data machine. So an apap capable and for sure not a brick. It is a full data machine.

Successful businesses don't "just decide." They figure out what the consumers are willing to pay for. The market won't pay much for high-hours CPAPs.

They also know that there are MANY low hour machines on the market, so it doesn't make sense to buy higher hour machines. That said, I have ~5500hrs on my ASV, and it works perfectly for my needs, so there is no need to 'upgrade' to a low hour machine. They are designed to run 15-20k hours.

That's not an "also."
