Is resmed aircurve 10 cs pacewave asv a bi level machine? And is lumis 150 used for central apnea?

Hello I have the aircurve 10 cs pacewave and was wondering if this australian model asv is a bi level machine?
I have epap in the settings but need ipap seperate like a bipap. Someone told me the pacewave is not a bi level machine and said only the aircurve 10 V Auto is a bi level machine. Is this true?

Second question was is lumis 150 used for central apnea or breath holding where the diaphram or lungs arent working while relaxing or Sleeping.

The AirCurve 10 PaceWave is an ASV machine and it is indeed a bilevel pressure machine.
It can be used for obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea or mixed/complex sleep apnea where people have both obstructive and central apnea.

The Lumis 150 is a step above the PaceWave in the features that it has available to help people who need more targeted ventilation.

If you just have central or complex sleep apnea and no other lung/respiratory issues it is unlikely that you would need the more advanced options available with this machine.

That person is ignorant and should stop talking about things they don't know about.

Yes, the CS pacewave is a bilevel machine, you set EPAP and PS, or you set EPAP and IPAP, bilevel, by definition. Yes, the VAuto is one of the many bilevel machines.

The Lumis 150ST is the equivalent of the Aircurve 10 iVAPS. it's not for sleep apnea as much as it is for people with lung disorders.

That's what I said.

The ST-A has iVAPS.
