DeVilbiss IntelliPAP2 PulseDose Error

Post by eldar » Mon Apr 06, 2020 9:47 am

Hi Guys -

I am trying to solve what should be extremely straightforward but is proving not to be.

I have had my IntelliPAP for 2 days. Honestly, I love the thing and am getting incredible sleep with it. Last night, I got a notification that the PulseDose unit had a "Service Failure" with a non-critical ID of 1. After contacting DeVilbiss and being told to contact my vendor, and my vendor saying that I needed to send the machine back for testing (both of which I find to be ridiculous), I'm hoping for help diagnosing what's going on. I'll add that there is no documentation anywhere that I've found that would help me just identify what the error is calling out.

Does anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Well, I've had an IP (if not your model) for a long time and never heard of 'pulse dose' at all... is it supposed to 'test' your breathing pattern (as some Respironics machines do) or ??

Why is sending the machine back to be looked at 'ridiculous'? Isn't that what you'd do with any product that is a problem?

It may not be practical at this time, but it's always best to have a back up on machine and all supplies.

An update: the error I got last night was far more searchable (thanks to Google). It was: "Service Code E81 Pulse Dose Failure"

Doing a simple Google search pointed to a flaw in the Pulse Dose module. I am attempting to resolve with DeVilbiss today. Wish me luck.
