Hello All,
I've been using the ResMed AirFit™ F30 successfully for several months in terms of AHI, and Low Leak rate (nightly in the 90%+ range consistently).
About 2 weeks ago, I started getting large leaks every night (60% - 70% results).
I have changed the cushion, and also changed the headgear - both to new items, but the problem is persisting.
No other changes in my sleeping patterns.
I'm stumped as to why this would just stop working for me.
The only change I can think of is I had a chin strap that seemed to be working pretty well, but now seems to have stretched and not provide the same support for helping me keep my mouth closed.
Not sure what solutions might be out there (and I did order new chinstraps to try). Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas are welcome and appreciated!

The mask you name is a full-face mask, so I'm curious why you think the chin strap might be making a difference. Is it that you dislodge your mask when your jaw drops? If so, then you should definitely get another chin strap and see whether that does the trick.
You might also want to check whether there are any leaks from your long hose or from its connection to the machine or the short hose, and you might want to check the short hose too.

I did recently replace the full hose too, so perhaps it is causing things.
I use FFM because I'm a mouth breather and can't use nose-only masks. But, I get very dry mouth so endeavor to keep my mouth closed using a strap.
I will update my profile per your suggestion as well!

Thanks for the profile update -- that was fast! I wouldn't be surprised if the chin strap was secretly doing double duty, not just preventing dry mouth but also keeping your mask in place better. I'll be curious if getting a new one solves the leak problem.

It's possible you've gained weight - even a relatively tiny amount of 10+ lbs can make a difference in fitting as your face is often the first place it shows up, so consider that as a factor.

Thanks, but if anything, I've lost weight in the last month (been working out a lot more and drinking less)!

Well, same thing because your face has (presumably) changed even in small ways, but enough to affect mask fit, cause micro leaks, etc.
