ResMed Transmission of Data to myAir

Post by ChicagoGranny » Thu Mar 26, 2020 6:36 am

Usually, my data is available in the app between 11:00 - 11:30 a.m.

If I click on the myAir line on the machine when I first get up, the data is available in the app within one hour.

I loves me my MyAir, myself. Every morning it easily at a glance gives me all the trending info I need for my therapy and my father's therapy several states away.

@ Granny, are you passing on a tip for triggering the data transmission or complaining about how long it takes when the cell signal is low or other?

It may be that they're looking for breathing patterns that are predictive of COVID-19!

If you think that this sounds far fetched, a high tech thermometer company is using fever readings to try to predict.

I have been using my Freestyle Libre CGM to monitor any unusual glucose trends.
High blood sugar is an early indication of infection--both bacterial and viral.

Neither. Just trying to trigger PaleRider.

Seriously, until 11 days ago, I was using an S9 which doesn't transmit data. Now, with an AirSense 10, I learned that the data transmission can be triggered as soon as I awaken. That's not a big deal for me, but some may be interested.

I've been very negative about myAir. But, when I picked up my machine, the DME said it has made a big difference in their patients' compliance. I also talked to a guy in the waiting area who checks it religiously. He gave me the impression that he would have great difficulty installing and understanding OSCAR. So, I have become supportive of myAir.

Thank God for sons who care for their fathers.

Stay safe.

I get more info on my screen, so, as long as I can see it . . .
Is myAir available in translation for the visually impaired?
Just asking for all the blind people out there--not reading this thread.

You might want to check the latest version of myAir. It has some information that is not available on the machine display. Though, nothing like OSCAR.

Yes, for hours used, 95% leak level liters, total events and myAir score.
