Having cpap breathing issues or bad anxiety
Having cpap breathing issues or bad anxiety
I been on resmed cpap for 5 years I have been having a lot of over breathing which is the same as hyperventalation just deep breathing never went through it before using my cpap I suffer all day everyday starting to wonder is it from the high pressure 11 I do throw it on when I'm just laying down way before sleep I think maybe taking in to much air or maybe anxiety has anyone else ever experienced this
Re: Having cpap breathing issues or bad anxiety
welcome to the zoo. sorry you are going through this. my current pressure is a minimum of 16.4 and a maximum of 20. so 11 shouldn't be considered a high pressure.Tinalea wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 7:25 pmI been on resmed cpap for 5 years I have been having a lot of over breathing which is the same as hyperventalation just deep breathing never went through it before using my cpap I suffer all day everyday starting to wonder is it from the high pressure 11 I do throw it on when I'm just laying down way before sleep I think maybe taking in to much air or maybe anxiety has anyone else ever experienced this
you say you "suffer all day everyday". exactly what are you suffering from? is it gas? is it inability to breath? need a touch more detail here, if you would be so kind.
you don't say which resmed cpap you are on. here is a list-
wiki/index.php/CPAP_models
as you can see, there's quite a lot. which one do you have? notice that there are fixed rate cpap and auto cpap. mine is auto which is why i said min of 16.4 and max of 20. you state pressure of 11. is that fixed?
the reason for all of these questions is that the experts here are going to need more data before they can give you specific advice. so pleas let them know which machine.
good luck!

Re: Having cpap breathing issues or bad anxiety
Presumably it's a new situation, so when it started, what else was changing in your life that could have made the difference? With no other info here, it's hard to come up with an answer, though we'd like to.

Also, punctuation would be a nice addition.
