Note: pillow life for the P10 varies with skin chemistry, and other unknown factors.
My skin is oily, so I replace mine every three weeks.
Three years is incredible, if you can make it last that long.
I do cycle my headgear to a fresh, clean one when I get 3 or more ugly leaks in a week.
I wash a bunch at a time, and trash the ones that lose their stretch. (After a year or two)

i put it down to meditation, yoga and a clean lifestyle.

no it may well be skin chemistry. i know that i have continued to use lansinoh on the pillows the whole time i've had them. and i wash them when i think about it. or after i've sneezed into them.

the headgear gets popped into the laundry when it occurs to me or if they feel "stretched". just started using the n30 headgear, which has a wee buckle on it. not sure if i will continue to wash it or merely adjust the band.

will look to dog slobber for guidance on that when the time comes.

Don’t know that I’ve actually ever worn out a P 10 pillow. I have a box with maybe 40 of them. They’ve all been used but are in good enough shape to be used further. One thing I learned about the P10is that while I might take a medium with some other masks I need a large pillow on the P10.
