Allergic reaction to mask?

I was curious if anyone has had an allergic reaction to nasal pillows or nasal mask?
I used a new mask and the next morning the area under my nose broke out into a rash.
The mask was new out of the box and washed before using. I've been on CPAP for 10 years with nothing like this before.

Fischer Packel 407. I really like the mask, but not if I'm allergic to it.

Anyone with a similar incident?

I had a small reaction to my pillow mask when I first started using it. I next coated it and my nares with AYR gel and it hsn't bothered me anymore. It may be something like a mold release on new masks that finally goes away. Wash it good in warm soapy water and then try the gel and I don't think you'll have any more problems. Least I hope not. jim
