Unfortunately we need to be asleep for any data from any machine to be really useful.
Awake breathing data doesn't/can't reflect what is going on when we are asleep. It's called sleep apnea for a reason....only matters when we are asleep.

I have a dsx1030t 11c (is that number off the back of the machine descriptive?) that I have barely been able to use. I started to try CPAP therapy a few years ago back when I first started posting on here with a regular CPAP that I could never get used to. I decided to give it another try this year when a TRT clinic gave me this bipap. The relief pressure feels much more comfortable and I do think I could get used to it and fall asleep on it except it is doing a very odd thing where it routinely tries to cut off my inhalation breath after only a half second or so of inhalation. it's like it's trying to guess when I'm going to breathe but gets it horribly wrong all the time. I might get a single long good breath or maybe two and on the next one it decides to only give a split second of inhalation and a pretty short exhalation. I have tried to explain this to the provider with the phone number they gave me but they don't seem to understand my problem and keep just trying to reset pressures. Is there an issue with my machine or something else I could adjust?
I have central sleep apnea issue, where my breathe will be normal at the start, becomes smaller and shallower until I just stop breathing completely for 20-40 secs. bought a 2nd hand ST30, hopefully to "remind" my body to breathe when it's not, not sure if it's working, and my night video cam didn't work on the first night. What you described, is the same as mine (breathe support got cut off before we end)! And I realised that is reacting the same way as my first CPAP (Philips as well), which didn't work back then as it just end up making my nose sensitive and completely blocked (like 99%, for whole night and day even after waking up). On the first night, the "sensitive nose" didn't happen, maybe due to my lower pressure of only 4 (exhale)-5 (inhale) H20). After I got awake, I thought I want to play around the settings, but the pressure got cut off at the end and I couldn't breathe in "more" as I would like to.... I have played around with all these settings (while it's powered on), but it still doesn't make sense.... not sure if it has to be stopped (by long pressing the top left button) and restarted before it's updated, or since the option is available for change while the system is on. BPM and TI also doesn't seem to have logical effects.... not sure if that's why the AVAPS existed (on page 14 of https://www.philips.com/c-dam/b2bhc/mas ... manual.pdf)

2.2.1 AVAPS (BiPAP AVAPS device only)
If enabled, Average Volume Assured Pressure Support (AVAPS) is a feature available in the S, S/T, PC, and
T modes. It helps patients maintain a tidal volume (VT) equal to or greater than the target tidal volume
(Volume setting in the AVAPS) by automatically controlling the gradual change in pressure support (PS)
provided to the patient. The rate of change is such that the patient is not aware of breath to breath pressure
changes.
The AVAPS feature adjusts PS by varying the IPAP level between the minimum (IPAP Min) and maximum
(IPAP Max) settings to meet the prescribed assured tidal volume setting.

AAM On will get the PS (pressure support) setting on, which made the cut off even more obvious. I totally understand what you mean by "might get a single long good breath", I think it's sort of time based (instead of volume based), which I was hoping for and looking to adjust.

Also, I realised on some breathes, it's giving this weird vibrational air when I am breathing out.

Am on my first night, so there's much more I have to try again....

Anyone have a link to a more in depth manual which explains exactly what all the terms means in the "Therapy mode"? There's no youtube video which explains it too.
