Without getting into great deal, here is an excerpt of an e-mail I sent to Karen at Padacheek.com re the F&P Simplus and the newer Vitera:
"I tried the Simplus liner with the Vitera mask and it does not work for me for this reason: I use double-stick tape to attach the velcro "arms" of the liner to the mask itself just below the exhaust holes to keep said liner in place. It works quite well and you can pass that on to any Simplus user. There is not much room, but there is even less room on the Vitera due to the holes being recessed. So for that reason I am going to stick with the Simplus and your liners. Hopefully F&P won't screw up and discontinue the Simplus. The Vitera is simply an updated Simplus with supposed tiny improvements that I don't even see."
Even without my double-stick tape kludge for the padacheek liner (which I think works really well in reducing mask leaks, especially around the bridge of my nose), IMHO I don't see any particular reason for switching from the Simplus to the Vitera if the Simplus works for you. Just wanted to mention it!

I started CPAP using a Simplus and I never could get it to stop leakinhg, especially air in the eyes. I tried a Pad a cheek liner but ity didn't help. I now use an Amara View and don't have near the problems I had with the Simplus.

Re: For Simplus/Vitera FFM users
Glad to hear you solved your issues by using the Amara. It has a lot going for it (you can wear glasses with it!), but my nostrils got way too irritated by all that air blowing directly into them. Oh well!
Re: For Simplus/Vitera FFM users
Amara View not that different from Simplus, just doesn't seal as far up on nose/face
