I don't think the OP ever said.
Filling out the profile is easy, but some refuse--not just newbies.

He only said Philips "Dreammaster". No mention of which model of DreamStation.

people seem to be annoyed w/ my post.im sorry im not an avid forum user, please excuse my lack of perfect protocol.i just asking for some opinions which may help me navigate this problem.im stressed ,tired, and very frustrated right now. and all i know is it says is dreammaster on it thats it.i have updated my profile w/ mask and such now.1 person said the way this thing is acting does'nt sound right which is exactly what my doctor thought as well. im going to turn this machine in a find a different vendor for a machine to hopefully get a different machine since the vendor that gave me this one is being very rude and completely unhelpful, saying that i have sign a form saying im non compliant which may have a negative effect with my insurance,i dont know.what happened too any medical supply professionals being helpful, know body cares its all just about keep paying me my money,if you have problems too bad.thank you in advance for any input on my issue.

Try to hang in for a day or two anyhow until a member here (not me) experienced with your machine can look into things before you turn in the machine... you never know where help comes from :D .

If the supplier gives you grief about returning the machine and wants you to sign something about refusing medical treatment don't sign it.
Tell them you aren't refusing cpap treatment but you are refusing to do business with them because of their attitude and lack of help.
Tell them you are going to take your business elsewhere.

This is what I did with the first DME that I had when I figured out pretty quickly they weren't going to do what I wanted and they lied to me about the machine they wanted to supply which I didn't want and had already told them I wouldn't accept. So I told them to keep it and they asked me to sign that agreement about refusing treatment and refused and told them I would indeed proceed with treatment but just not with them supplying equipment.

I think I might has also mentioned a place they could go for an extended vacation that was rather hot year round...
They probably called me a bitch and glad to not have to deal with me...that's okay...I called them worse names.

I briefly tried a Dreamstation (after my Resmed S9 VAUTO). I had a similar sensation -- it seemed like the machine was fighting against my breathing. One thing that helped that sensation was turn off the smart ramp (or whatever it was called). That made it better but did not fully solve the problem.

I then went with an AirCurve 10 and life was good.
