extra noise from Air set 10 Autoset
extra noise from Air set 10 Autoset
I have been using my Cpap for about 5 or 6 years now and have never had a problem. Over the past month it is making a louder noise in the area where it draws in air, enough that it wakes my wife up (she wakes up from the blue light on the cable box) I have taken the filter out and it does not change the noise so not sure if it is inside the unit or sucking air in through a leak.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and might have any ideas. Time to get a new one?

Do you use an ozone cleaner ( sanitizer) on your machine?

Try reseating the humidifier, or swap it out with your spare humidifier. You do have a spare, don't you?
Reseat the hoses. Look for a leak on the hose. Swap the hose out with your spare hose.

Wife? No. Not for that, anyway.
I use blue painters tape. Shines through. Dimmer the more layers.

I found the lightdims years ago... some things that used to light up the room? now, just a dim glow that I can see when I look for it... I don't know WHY companies put these crazy bright LEDs on things.

Re: extra noise from Air set 10 Autoset
Sorry, I have been away for a few days but the problem was the humidifier (even though I would have sworn the noise was coming from the area of the filter). I do have a spare but don't really use my humidifier. I have a plug (for lack of better wording) I put in when I travel because I would never use hotel water and i placed that in where the humidifier goes and end of problem. You were right on.Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 2:40 pmTry reseating the humidifier, or swap it out with your spare humidifier. You do have a spare, don't you?
