I personally expect to gain nothing from this poll. However, it is interesting to understand the user base here.

Already it is very interesting to note how few CPAP users there are, and a dead split between APAP and Bipap.

I have a few other polls in mind and may post one a week or so. How many hours does your primary machine have? What brand do you use? What type of mask do you prefer? Do you have a backup? Do you use Soclean? How often do you clean your mask/hose? Many others.

I believe it helps to give context as to how the user base as a whole will answer and is interesting to see how others respond.

I doubt you'll get an understanding of the user base (90,000+ registered members). Even the most popular polls run here have had less than 50 responses. The most popular poll (Where are you from?) only had 86 responses.

Sigh....

Just so everyone knows....

People are allowed to create polls here...as many as they might want to make and about anything they want to make a poll about for any reason they might have running around in their head. There is no rule that the poll has to make sense to anyone but the creator.

Now I know there are a LOT of people here who find polls annoying and useless and generally a big PITA
BUT
you don't have to read them or participate in them. You can just ignore them especially when the creator has been kind enough to announce in the subject line that it is a poll.

Maybe I need to do a poll about polls....

As long as it doesn't violate the terms of agreement thing....polls are fair game to do if that's what someone wants to do.

I am not going to allow crap talking though...So no more snotty snide little remarks please.

If someone doesn't care for polls...ignore them. No one really cares what you think anymore than you care what the poll creator thinks....think about that one.

I never said I did, I didn't even *imply* that I spoke for the majority, please note the "I think"

Why don't you create a poll about whether people would like to see you spamming the forum with dumb polls?

I have not, nor ever plan to start a poll.
I consider them extremely annoying, and of no value whatsoever.
But go ahead and alienate nearly everyone.
It's your funeral.
