I had AHI of 2.6 last night. Mostly HA and 2 CA. Mask fit at 84%. I will keep these settings for now.

It has been a few weeks since I posted. Things had been going OK with cpap therapy. But the past week or so, my AHI has been creeping up everyday. I feel OK. Last night was my worst in a long time. AHI 8.7. What is strange is I feel OK. I actually have been taking a little better care of myself. I have been exercising more, back on blood pressure meds, eating better and limiting alcohol. I have lost 5 pounds in a week. I thought maybe it was the benadryl I have been taking before bed every night had something to do with the increase in AHI. It has helped me breathe a little better and has helped me get to sleep. But I didn't take any last night. I am still using the same pressure as I have been for the past month. I am not sure if need to increase the EPAP and/or pressure support. I never has this many CA & OA. HA is usually main culprit but those #'s are huge last night. Has been creeping up daily.

Your pressure support settings are min 4 and max of 5...average PS is 4.4.
For hyponeas we typically want more IPAP available and with this machine hope that the machine will go there on its own but if it is averaging 4.4...it isn't making much use of the 5 PS which would push the IPAP up a little.

If it were me I would be looking at either more minimum EPAP (which by default pushes IPAP up) or preferrably more minimum PS since it won't make use of the 5 it has available.
Like maybe minimum PS of 5 and max of 6. See what it does.

Thanks pugsy. I was thinking the pressure support of 5-6 as well. I will make that change tonight

Increased p.s. to 5 to 6. Ahi 2.2. Thanks pugsy. A little more leakage with higher pressure 85% mask fit. But acceptable
