What is the development environment for OSCAR? Is it still using Qt? I guess I could go check out it's source code if it's still public.
Same as SH, only modernized. As to the source: https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/ at the bottom of the page.

I am starting to feel unwelcome. I was always taught that if I didn't have something nice to say I should stay quiet. I would extend that to be that if I didn't have something useful to say I should stay quiet. My only interest in this matter is to help preserve our capability to benefit from the data collected by our data-capable machines. My apologies if there are too many hard feelings about SleepyHead, it really helped me when I started CPAP.
It's not that there are hard feelings about sleepyhead, as far as I know, there aren't.

It's all about the fact that Sleepyhead is *DEAD*, kaput, no longer being developed, with many bugs that have been fixed in Oscar.

As was said, if you want to compile SH, if you can find the proper Qt environment, feel free.

However, if for whatever reason you don't move to Oscar, you're only cheating yourself out of a superior experience, with a development team that actually cares about the users.. (ie, you).

For some reason, I'm not seeing my last couple posts. I did finally succeed in building the final SleepyHead version. Thanks for the help!
Jim
good to know. and that posting thing? happens to me more than i'd like to admit. usually when i've composed some very long and elaborate post(which i hardly ever do.). i think it's because i hit preview rather than submit and don't realize my mistake until much later.

hey whatcha gonna do,eh?

If you are interested in working with the OSCAR developers contact forum member "bonjour". I think he is heading up the OSCAR team.
He's the project manager. There are several programmers. I emphasize 'team' above, because it really is a team of people that are working together.

Jim, this is a laudable goal. With your skills and dedication, I wonder whether your next project might be to volunteer your help to the Oscar team.
Oscar software is available at https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/
