Did anyone else see today's (March 1) Dear Abby about snoring?

All too often, newspapers clip off the last one or two letters so that Abby will fit into the space they have available. What a shame that she saves the most important advice for her last letter -- Go to the doctor and get evaluated for Sleep Apnea!

Arggghhhhh! The e-mail link to Dear Abby doesn't work! It just brings this same column back up.
I wanted to e-mail her:
Dear Abby, YOU BLEW IT! When answering QuietSleeper in San Francisco and others about SLEEP STUDY LEADS TO SOLUTION FOR WIFE'S SNORING PROBLEM the absolute FIRST response should have been that ear plugs would NOT save the snoring partner's health and life. Take them to the doctor and insist they undergo a Sleep Study! Thankful I Did In Davis gave the CORRECT ADVICE. Forty lashes with a wet noodle for you as your Aunt Ann Landers would have said.

Women are Angels. And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly.....on a broomstick. We are flexible like that.

I don't know but my first clue that something might be medically wrong would have been that I needed Gunshot sound gear and or Jet engine Sound muffs to cover up my loved ones sleeping. At the same time though, what's so easy to see for people with OSA / SA and other sleep disorders, is really hard for the general public to understand. It's sad but it seems most people take everything for granted and unless you can see the problem physically, it simply is not real to them.... Heck, its even hard for us to get it in the begining.

Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught.

Yes i read it in the local newspaper
Can't say i agree with the treatment though. I for one would rather hose up than have my tongue and tonsils rearranged
