Modifying a Philips Dreamwear Full Face Mask
Has anyone here ever cut and removed the silicone strip below the nostril opening? It keeps sliding up and blocking my nostrils! I must adjust it umpteen times a night, so I can breathe!

If the strip is cut out, the mask will leak badly and, in effect, is ruined.Naturevegan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 11:57 pmHas anyone here ever cut and removed the silicone strip below the nostril opening? LSAT may be right. You might have the wrong size. Or, you might not have the mask adjusted properly.
Watching several videos on fitting and adjusting may get you in a position to solve the problem. See - https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +face+mask
BTW, that mask is great. I hope you can get it to work properly.

Agree with LSAT and Granny. If you cut it, you won't ever get a good seal, it will be ruined. You either have the wrong size or its not adjusted properly. Watch the videos that Granny sent the link for, there will be other videos too if you search on You Tube.
Good luck along the mask fitting journey. Finding the right mask, right size, comfort level, leak control, and for me the ablility to just keep it on all night has been quite a challenge for me too.
