Simplus FFM Quality changed?

They now ship with newer headgear that is way smaller. Plus over half the cushions seem defective in that the venting holes are very loud. The normal Simplus cushion when you get a good one is very quiet. I’ve ordered from different merchants and it seems the quality is very poor compared to a few years ago.

I have found that there are a lot of cushions that whistle when any moisture is near the vents. I wrote to F & P and they were not interested at all. You're right, it's a very quiet mask when it works correctly.

They do have a new version of it that I'd like to try, the Vitera. So far I haven't seen a good enough deal on it.

I have been using the Simplus for about a year. I changed the cushion about 2 months ago. I find the mask extremely quiet. I have another spare...
When I do change cushions again I will be listening for the noise.
