First question is I have an SD card for my Autosense 10 and use it with Oscar. I created a new profile in Oscar and use a micro SD card for a new Dreamstation Go (intended as travel machine). After downloading last night's data in my new profile, all the previous data from the Autosense disappeared even though it was in a different profile. I re-downloaded the original data from the Autosense SD card and it wiped out the Dreamstation data from last night. It appears that I cannot have data from multiple machines in Oscar with the way I am doing this. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Second question is with pressure settings the same between the Resmed Autosense 10 and the Dreamstation Go Auto, the results are very different and far worse on the Dreamstation. Any suggestions for these issues is greatly appreciated.

It's appears the EPR on the Resmed is set to 3(7.03 in and 4.03 out) and the equivalent feature on the Respironics is set to 2(7 in and 5 out).
Re: Questions on Oscar for 2 profile and different results on two machines.
Actually on the Respironics machine it might be set to 3 but the most anyone can get in terms of a drop on exhale is 2 cm even if the setting is 3.
Respironics machines don't do a per cm drop during exhale like ResMed does. Instead Respironics bases the amount of actual reduction on the force of the breathing. Breathe forcefully and you probably will get the full drop but even at the setting of 3 the most anyone can get is 2 cm drop.

I like to think of Respironic's Flex settings (1,2, and 3) more like low, medium and high, to avoid confusion with ResMed's cm drops.Pugsy wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2019 6:13 pmActually on the Respironics machine it might be set to 3 but the most anyone can get in terms of a drop on exhale is 2 cm even if the setting is 3.

That's not how it works on Respironics.
Get OSCAR
Accounts to put on the foe list: dataq1, clownbell, gearchange, lynninnj, mper!?, DreamDiver, Geer1, almostadoctor, sleepgeek, ajack, stom, mogy, D.H., They often post misleading, timewasting stuff.

Do you only have the one night of data on the dreamstation so far or is the data provided what you consistently see (0.14 ahi on Resmed and 1.4 ahi on dreamstation). It seems like you might just be comparing a good night to a worse night as the difference isn’t that significant.
One thing I do notice is that 4 of your hypopneas (half of them) on the dreamstation were during ramp which if you weren’t asleep might not even be real or if you were asleep would have been getting insufficient treatment due to low ramp pressure. I personally would turn ramp off on both machines.

Attached is last night on the Dreamstation. the AHI was 1.9 but I couldn't get it all to show on the screen shot.
The periodic breathing has me confused....this is not mentioned in the Autosense data so I am not sure if this skews the even count in the dreamstation (i.e. counting events differently and counting extra things that the other does not measure?).
So, should I set the FLEX on the dreamstation to 3?

The PB flagged breathing can be ignored. Periodic breathing is just a waxing and waning of the flow rate that lasts at least 2 minutes.
It's only a potential sign of a problem when prolonged and packed full of apnea events. Obviously yours is neither.
It has zero bearing on any of the other data.
If you are expecting exact same results from two different brands of machines using the same settings....unlikely it will happen because each brand has slightly different criteria for its recording or flagging of each event as well as auto adjusting algorithm....and there is always a potential for the results to vary from night to night even when different machines are used.
Historically most people using both a ResMed machine and a Respironics machine will find that they need a little more minimum pressure with the Respironics machine to attain close to the results that the ResMed delivers.
