Help with the pressure...

Post by Rickitz » Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:05 am

Hello everyone, I have about 2 months of treatment, I adapted relatively well to CPAP and sleep well, however, I believe I still could not reach the ideal pressure range for me, I would like a help from you, if possible.
Thanks in advance, I apologize for any formatting errors and poor English, I had a lot of help from Google here hehe

Welcome to the forum.

What makes you think the pressure could stand more tweaking?
Are you still having some unwanted symptoms? Waking often during the night? Leaks?
Are you wanting an even lower AHI?

You could try a little more minimum and see if the pressure line stabilizes a bit more but it doesn't look bad now. Some people do like to see the pressure line less mobile though....less movement and more consistent. To get that to happen in your situation you would likely need around 14 minimum...may or may not make any difference in how you feel or the AHI or anything else but you could sure give it a try and answer that "what if more pressure is used" question.

Thanks Pugsy! I do not know, I think that seeing a few days AHI is below 1.0 I end up in a paranoia, wanting it to always be so, and the first thing that comes to mind is the pressure hehe. I deal with leaks, more on some nights and less on others, but nothing that significantly hurts me, I believe.

I will test for a few days with 14.0 minimum pressure to answer the question.

Thank you again!
