Stick to one thread... but go back to the first post and change the subject line to what you're currently working on. that will change the message subjects on subsequent posts.
The canonical example for this technique is this thread:
viewtopic/t104717/OTDefective-frogBreas ... CURED.html
As you read through it, you see how Chunky went back to the first post and kept updating the subjects as events progressed.
We're hoping you're more successful too

please come in tomorrow and let us know how the night went.
(p.s. thanks!)

The machine is set up generically without a prescribed pressure, set at 5-20, which I figured it would be since it was an at home study. ... I am planning on keeping it at this level for maybe a week and see the pressures and results.
If it were me, I'd post the results from the SD card tomorrow... and potentially update pressures.

This time around with a APAP was quite a different experience for me with CPAP way back when.
The good news is that no eye leaks! Mask seemed very comfortable although I'm thinking I need a FF mask as I think I had mouth leaks (?) as you will see in the charts so I am ordering the Dreamwear FF parts to give it a try. And being a stomach sleeper (could be where the leaks came from as well) I was able to sleep that way. I am reserving the DME for the Resmed F30 FF when it comes time to "replace" the mask in 3 months. I want to try a FF as well since I noticed every so often the seal from my nasal cavity would break and I'd get air in my mouth
The machine did something strange around 10:30 as I was still awake - It just shut off pressure. I did have the smartstart turned on and I think that's what turned it off; I have turned this feature off and realize when I get up to go to the bathroom, just turn the machine off. I have EPR turned on for RAMP only and that also was strange as it almost seemed to breathe with me which was a strange sensation for me. My wife and I were quite surprised on how quiet this machine was, my mask breathing was noisier than the machine itself.
I think I have the charts set up properly and the first chart is the whole night with the second chart as to what happened about 10:30 to see if someone has a clue as to why it shut off ... it looks like it was a large leak which is why smartstart may have turned it off.
Thanks in advance for any info!

I don't know what you are doing for your report images but it isn't working and when I try to view the image I get a prompt to log in to my non existent google account.
Just use the attachment feature that the forum editor provides for your images.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

None of the URLs work.
Try can upload pics directly to forums, that's how most do it.

My best guess for what caused the 10:30 shut off was the large leak. The machine didn't know you were still attached because the amount of large leak confused it.
Turning SmartSense off will prevent that from happening again. It will just flag the large leak and keep on blowing.
I suspect you are going to need a little more minimum pressure. How much more is kinda hard to say with so much leaking going on the muddy up the waters.
If going by the median average though....somewhere in the 10 to 12 cm range for the minimum.
Once you go to sleep the machine goes up there and wants to stay there anyway for the most part.
Part of the pressure change needs might be positional or REM related.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Thanks Zonker! I sometimes wonder about myself though as I do miss a lot of obvious things that are hidden smack dab in front of me!

Thanks Pugsy! I'll raise the minimum pressure to 10 tonight and see.

I was going to suggest a minimum pressure of 10, based on the pressure curves... so, yeah.

If going to 10 in one big step is too much to handle you can of course make use of the ramp if you need it or go up in smaller increments.

i like to think of it as just the grey matter not quite recovered from all that abuse before sleep apnea therapy.

Last night, I raised the pressure to 10 and used ramp starting a little lower pressure. I think I need to raise the minimum pressure a little to 12.8 or 13 If I'm reading the data correctly.
I'm not understanding the non large leak being reported from the machine. I'm thinking the large leak is from mouth being open and I have ordered a FF mask for that but the non large leak especially in the beginning of the night has me baffled - I was awake and I didn't think my mask was leaking. I did notice that I woke myself up a few times lying on my back as I was dosing off because I was gurgling which I guess is the leak but that was a little while from when I started.
I know the chart isn't a good chart as far as therapy but I will say from my past bad experience that it really is much better than I expected. I'm thinking I just need to figure out the large leak if it turns out not to be my mouth opening, get the minimum pressure correct and get used to being on a PAP device to get longer and better sleep. I see I have CA's being reported and once I get the other things straightened out I guess I'll address it with my sleep doc if it continues.
I do appreciate the help you all are providing! Thanks!
