new machine; oscar; sd card

Post by tyrinryan » Thu Nov 14, 2019 9:04 am

If one is switching machines or using different machines from time to time;
can you use the same sd card for both machines and then log into Oscar and download the data?
or should you keep a separate sd card for each machine?

Are there any problems with Oscar when you switch machines? even if you have separate sd cards?

Some machines might not like you using the same SD card.
Some don't like having a different machine's data on the SD card.
If you put the SD card in the machine and it doesn't like it...it will usually prompt you to erase the unwanted data off the card.
Respironics machines don't seem to care what is on the SD card but ResMed machines do seem to care.

OSCAR/SleepyHead doesn't care though. I have at least 5 different machines under one user profile in OSCAR/SleepyHead.

Use separate cards.
