the F30 was the only Full face mask that DIDN'T leak for me.

Bristolman, congrats on your ingenuity, but pardon a really simple question: is this intended to address mouth leak? So it’s basically replacing a wrap-around-the-head type of chinstrap?

I’m really interested because that’s what the RT has had me using for the past couple months, i.e., both the F20 and a basic chinstrap. It seems to be working fairly well, but it makes using a cpap, an already convoluted process, even more convoluted!

TIA.

all of my f20 mask leaks were caused by the lower part of the mask riding up to my lower lip or mask moving when I rolled to my side . the strap stabilized the mask on my face and I have not had one leak since I started wearing it . it is a little uncomfortable but the benefits override that . I'm at the point where I actually don't mind putting my mask on my face when I go to bed . sorry , original thought was for mask movement not open mouth problem , but strap has seemed to solve all for me ( mouth seems to be staying closed because of extra strap and maybe training myself ) .

the seal that goes around your mouth area is very annoying because I can feel the seal edge near my mouth does anyone have this issue?
Out of all the hybrid type full face masks, the F30 has the largest contact area of cushion to face, it sounds like to me your cushion is just too small, try one size up.

What you're describing was one of my main issues i had with the Amara View, it always felt like the corners of my mouth were slipping out of the mask, due to a very narrow area of contact, the F30 is a big improvement in this area, so if you're having that kind of issue, I'm thinking your cushion is a tad small.

Far as I'm concerned, F30 reigns supreme over all, i regularly sleep in, and lazily roll over in bed, peaceful as can be, all while wearing my mask.
Yay :D For no more diaphragm cramps and dozing off while driving!
